Coach Schmitz speaks candidly on the progressions both he and Missy Franklin experienced together throughout their unique and inspiring story!
Todd has served as the Co-Chairperson of Age Group Swimming for Colorado Swimming, Inc. from 2005 through 2008 and was also a member of USA Swimming’s Convention Education Committee through 2013; in addition to being a member of the 2016 US Olympic Team staff.
Coach Schmitz has been honored by his peers with the following awards: Colorado Swimming Age Group Coach of the Year in 2008 & 2009;
Senior Group Coach of the Year in 2010. In 2010 Todd was named the USA Swimming Developmental Coach of the Year.
