By Fitter and Faster Staff

Canton City Schools Swim Team, Mike Davidson

Mike Davidson is the Head Coach of the Canton City School Swim Team in Canton, OH. Mike has worked with every developmental level in the sport of swimming, from the age group ranks to NCAA finalists, and most recently helping his athlete, Hunter Armstrong, earn a spot on the 2020 United States Olympic Team!

In this episode of the Fitter & Faster Coaches Corner, Davidson talks about how he incorporates Speed & Power training into senior swimming, and discusses the various forms this type of training requires. Canton City School’s program uses a plethora of equipment, including power-towers, buckets, resistance cords, and other assisted-speed “toy’s.”
