Alex Rayle was the Associate Head Coach at Piedmont Family YMCA/CYAC from 2019-2020 and the Head Age Group Coach from 2017-2019. During his time at CYAC, Alex’s swimmers achieved 7 National Age Group Records, 32 individual Virginia Swimming Records, and had 7 different individual swimmers rank #1 in Virginia. He was nominated for the ASCA Age group Coach of the year in 2018 and 2019, he represented Virginia Swimming at 2019 USA Swimming’s Leadership Summit, and was named Virginia Swimming’s Coach of the Year in 2019. Alex graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and swam for the Seahawks for 2013-2017. He is an ASCA Level 5 Age Group Coach and is currently coaching at the Virginia Gators in the Central Virginia area as the Head Senior Coach.
