Overall this was a great experience. Drew Loy was great with the kids, and seemingly a great role model. He did a really good job teaching all the kids and not singling any one kid out. A full 2.5 hours of engagement and lesson. You definitely get your moneys worth. The kids need to come prepared to listen and learn. We really enjoyed the clinic. They did a fantastic job with their hands on approach to teaching. Rather than coaching from the pool deck in hopes the kids are understanding them, they jumped in and showed the kids what a good start, flip turn and break out looked like. We have sent our son to several of these clinics. Pretty much every time you are in our area and they have definitely made a difference. He was a strong swimmer before. This last year he has really blossomed and I know these clinics have played a part in that. He went from being one of the top swimmers in his age group to state champion in almost every stroke and one of the top swimmers at Zones this year. We will keep coming back!
