EXPERIENCE

Michael Salazar swam at Ohio State University and specialized in sprint butterfly. Throughout his collegiate career, Michael consistently preformed in the A Final and finished top 8 at the Big 10 Championships in the 100 Butterfly.

In addition to sprint butterfly, Michael also focused on the 200 Butterfly and 200 freestyle! His incredible technique translates well to middle distance yardage, where Michael is familiar with how to maximize his strokes throughout the more strenuous races.

Michael is a big believer in trying new methods and looking at things with different perspectives.

“My favorite part of the sport is discovering something new, and then applying it in training ever day. After swimming competitively for almost 15 years, I enjoy passing what I’ve learned to the next generation,” says Michael.

“I love helping other swimmers gain a new perspective on stroke technique, race strategy, and the power of underwater kicking!” he said.
