EXPERIENCE

Grigory Tarasevich is a 2016 Olympian who swam in Rio de Janiero, representing his home country of Russia. He is a well versed Backstroker who swam the 50 (relay), 100m and 200m Backstroke.

Leading into the Olympic Games, Grigory also preformed exceptionally well at the European Championships, where he won medals in the 50M and 100M backstroke and qualified for Rio.

Grigory is also a Junior at University of Louisville in Kentucky, and heading into his Senior year! He has had a lot of experience in the short course yard world of college swimming, finishing 3rd and 9th at his most recent NCAA in his backstroke events!

While practicing with the Cardinals, Grigory has sharpened his turns, underwaters, and backstroke technique to strengthen his sprinting skillsets as well. He is an incredibly dedicated athlete who is always aspiring to learn more and make an impact on every team he participates.
