“My daughter has been swimming for 5 years, but this is the first time someone has broken down the flip turn technique for her. Joao personally went to each kid and watched their technique. Amazing! …Thank you Joao for instructing Elaina & Jocelyn. They attended your Ashland, OH camp as well as this weekend’s camp in Erie, PA. Going into their 1st camp they were all very nervous in January. Walking into the facility on Saturday in Erie they were full of confidence and ready to go. A large part of that came from previously attending one of your camps and knowing what to expect. “…He learned so much about swimming thanks to the way the coaches broke down the stroke and showed him how to improve each area of that strike. There was a remarkable improvement from minute 1 to minute 150 both days. And he loved every minute of both days. When we got home, we were already searching for the next camp in our area. Nick, Drew, and Matthew were awesome as coaches. They did a great job of breaking down the strokes and were very relatable to the kids. They also did a great job of explaining to us parents what they were doing and how they were going to help our kids each day. We especially enjoyed the Q&A sessions afterwards where they not only helped answer our questions, but they also provided an extra voice for our kids when talking about hydration and other important topics we have a hard time drilling into the heads of our young athletes.” – Chris Bowlin in Western Springs, IL
