Aly was exceptional at speaking loudly and clearly and firmly keeping everyone focused and on track. She was encouraging and provided constructive criticism when necessary. My daughter had Fun and learned many strategies and techniques to start faster, turn cleaner and finisher stronger. Her confidence is up and she excited to bring what she’s learned to her next meet! Nick was so personable, energetic and fun. He knew just how to speak to the athletes and not at or down to them. In telling his story of being the worst swimmer on his teams and how he set goals and worked hard to achieve them he motivated and inspired my daughter. His high levels of energy were contagious and he had the parents enjoying being there as well. This is the 6th clinic my daughter has attended and she and I both think this was, by far, the best one yet thanks to Nick Thoman. They have all been fun and she has learned things at all of them that she has been able to put to use in her swim journey, but I saw her confidence level grow so much between the beginning and end of this clinic. Nick and Olivia both took time with her and with any of the athletes who wanted it. They made them all feel that they were capable of achieving any goal. – Christine in New Prague, MN

I rarely complete surveys but made sure to make time for this one. Rollan and Tucker provided an enriching swim experience way beyond our expectations! My son is shy and struggles with confidence. In just one weekend, these coaches increased not only his swim confidence but also his overall self-esteem. I’m unsure of the confluence of factors that contributed to his performance at his next swim session but he was not only the fastest in his lane but the whole pool.
