Expert clinician’s give your child specific instructions and tips to improve or correct strokes, starts and finishes. If your child needs extra assistance, they will help them make adjustments on the spot by showing them and explaining the corrections. – Ariel Blichfeldt in Andover, MN

We loved the backstroke instruction and hope it helps our swimmer go farther in his swimming ‘career’ having a stronger grasp on this one stroke that is his favorite at the moment! Thanks for teaching so well and keeping the class going at a good pace. The story of your amazing qualification to the Olympics was crazy…only 5/100’s to make it! And then the extra mental prep before the race at the Olympics made it quite relatable as you had to take in the pool venue and get settled before the race. The camp was great. As a parent, I appreciated the coaches involvement with each kid. They were constantly talking, demonstrating, and giving instruction. The coaches were always available for the kids.
My child was happy to attend on Saturday and even more excited to go on Sunday. He said he learned better techniques and felt more confident in his stroke.

This was by far the BEST Fitter Faster Camp (and swim clinic in general) we have attended! It was an extremely well run and planned camp. It was very clear that both Coach Andrew and Coach Iago have a true passion for swimming as well as coaching/teaching kids. They were super engaging the entire time and as a parent, I loved seeing not only my daughter, but the entire group so focused on everything they were saying.
Coach Andrew would explain certain things while Coach Iago demonstrated in the water which was extremely efficient. I was surprised to learn that this was the first camp they had done together as they executed it seamlessly and really made a fantastic team. They both were able to phrase things in a way that illustrated what they were teaching which helped it stick in my daughter’s mind. For example, “one goggle in, one goggle out” “funny face” and “sneaky breath” for freestyle breathing.
Another thing that really stood out was both coaches created multiple “one-on-one moments” with each of the swimmer throughout the clinic whether it was a correction, a compliment or just simply interacting with the kids throughout the clinic. Because they worked together so well, this did not take away from the instruction of the other kids, but rather “added” to the overall effectiveness of their coaching and I know the enjoyment of the camp.
When you do these clinics, you hope that your child uses what they learned. First two practices after the clinic and I could already see my daughter using many of the techniques she learned and applying the corrections they gave her. – Colleen in Cumming, GA
