    UNDERWATER DOLPHIN KICKING: Absolutely, undeniably, the fastest way to move through the water! Whether you dolphin kick on your stomach, side or back, understanding the importance of streamlined, underwater speed is vital for every swimmer! Olympian Peter Vanderkaay will teach you how to make the most of your streamline and underwater kicking, as well as teach you drills on how to improve upon those skills.

    • BODY POSITION The simplest way to maintain your speed is a TIGHT STREAMLINE! Peter will reinforce to you why he NEVER take streamlining for granted. Every fast swimmer must look like a rocket when they push off the wall! 
    • CORE DRIVEN: Not a single great dolphin kicker kicks from their knees down! Our clinician will instruct you on how to engage your kick from the core, utilizing your chest press and hip drive to create a fluid undulating motion.
    • BREAKOUT: Carrying the speed from your turn into the first stroke cycle is crucial for maintaining momentum. Learn the key components of a breakout that make you more confident during a race!
    IM TRANSITION: There are definitely secrets that the elite IMer's use to manage their effort over the course of four different strokes, take this unique opportunity to learn from one of the best swimmers about their different race strategies employed over both the 200 & 400 IM that allow them to finish strong.
    • TRANSITIONS: A special emphasis on all the turns will be given during this clinic to ensure you understand how to maximize the speed you carry off your walls into your next stroke.
    • CROSS OVER TURN: One of the most challenging skills to teach or learn, Peter will take you step by step through one of the most underutilized athletic movements in the sport.
    WATCH THE CLINICIAN: Before you swim, observe Peter swim at full speed and demonstrate a progression of perfectly executed drills that you will be learning.
