William McClelland, from Westfield, New Jersey, is a standout swimmer for the Dartmouth College Big Green. A talented backstroke and individual medley specialist, William has become a key contributor for Dartmouth since his freshman year, showcasing skill, determination, and a relentless drive to improve.

Before joining Dartmouth, William built an impressive high school career at Westfield High School. He was named a NISCA All-American, earned All-State First Team honors, and was recognized as a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American — all while helping lead his team to a state championship title.

At Dartmouth, William has made an immediate impact, competing at the Ivy League Championships and regularly scoring points for the Big Green with strong performances in the backstroke and IM events.
