Hudson McDaniel is a powerhouse breaststroker with a lifelong passion for the water and a competitive fire that has driven him to the top of the sport.
Growing up in Ashland, Ohio, Hudson quickly made a name for himself as a multi-time high school state champion. He continued his success at The Ohio State University, where he became an NCAA All-American and a key contributor to the Buckeyes’ success in the Big Ten Conference and on the national stage.
Hudson lives by the belief that “success is 99% hard work and 1% talent.” He is dedicated to helping swimmers of all ages understand the importance of dedication, perseverance, and a strong support system.
At his Fitter & Faster clinics, Hudson focuses on the fine details of breaststroke technique—from developing a powerful kick to executing an explosive pull. He brings a unique perspective, having grown up in a swimming family and competed at the highest levels of the sport. Hudson’s goal is to help every swimmer he works with unlock their full potential.
