EXPERIENCE
Atiba Wade brings more than 40 years of experience in competitive swimming to every Fitter & Faster camp—both as a high-level athlete and a respected coach. A former NCAA Qualifier at the University of Georgia and two-time U.S. Olympic Trials Qualifier, Atiba understands firsthand what it takes to reach the highest levels of the sport. His passion for teaching and developing swimmers of all ages shines through in every session he leads.
In addition to his accomplishments in the pool, Atiba is a leader in coach education. He certifies and mentors swim coaches around the world through the American Swimming Coaches Association (ASCA), helping raise the standard of coaching excellence globally. As a certified DNA-Based Fitness Trainer, he designs personalized dryland and nutrition programs that optimize performance and overall health.
Outside of swimming, Atiba brings his athleticism and discipline to the entertainment industry as a professional SAG-AFTRA stunt performer—further demonstrating his versatility, drive, and love for movement. At every Fitter & Faster event, Atiba energizes swimmers with his deep knowledge, enthusiasm, and ability to connect technical concepts to real-world success in and out of the pool.
