Dear Patty,
Our son had a fantastic experience this summer with Fitter and Faster training. He has been in previous F&F clinics which were helpful but this summer series was particularly impactful. First and foremost, before swim practices with our local club were happening, it was really reassuring that the F&F camps were being operationalized and available in a safe manner, no doubt the logistics were not easy to manage. Second, because of the smaller camp sizes our son really got a lot of individual attention and was able to make meaningful improvements. He participated in several of the summer clinics and particularly appreciated the experience with Austin Surhoff (Backstroke camp), Clark Smith (Freestyle &Bootcamp) and Atiba Wade (Bootcamp). My son talked about how kind each of the coaches were and that these three were especially helpful in providing tips about his swimming with each lap.
2020 has been challenging but this swim series has been a highlight of the summer.
I hope that the clinics will be offered again in our area next summer (North Potomac), we will be sure to sign up.
