Thank you for the personal and professional messages to the older kids. Messages from the elite swimmers about setting goals, being the kind of person others want to be around, and spending time with good people are important to their overall lives, in addition to their swimming careers. My middle-schooler liked knowing that the elite swimmers started out exactly where she is now. It made her goal to swim in college seem much more attainable and they reiterated how important hard work is to get results. The lessons in and out of the pool were inspirational and will challenge her to be better. She is now a lifelong fan of Brett, Gabby and Sam.
