EXPERIENCE
Marko Blazevski represented his native country of Macedonia at the 2012 & 2016 Summer Olympic Games , presented with the honor of being Macedonia flag bearer during the Opening Ceremony of the 2012 London Summer Olympics, participated in 6 consecutive World Aquatics Championships (2011-16) and is the Macedonian Swimming National Record Holder in 20 different events!
Marko knows about grit in the sport of swimming: “I had to ride my bike to practice every morning and afternoon while in high school. Doing this as a 15 year old in the rain while never missing a practice teaches you an unbelievable amount of perseverance and grit that I’ve been able to use all throughout my swimming career and beyond.”
Now retired, Marko credits swimming for the life that he has today. As a double Olympian, the qualities of collaborative teamwork, strong leadership, and a can-do attitude combined with his eagerness to learn and grow, are what he integrates into every facet of his life!
At his camps, Marko strives to give back to his swimmers the skills, knowledge & techniques he has learned throughout his career! He says “I love coaching and sharing my swimming knowledge with the next generation. Growing up I never had the opportunity to be personally coached by Olympians and high level athletes. By being on the other side now, I love this opportunity to be able to give back to the sport that has given me so much in my life.”
