EXPERIENCE

Ryan Harty is another clinician who comes from University of Texas, having swum with Eddie Reese. Ryan’s proficiency in his college career started right away during his Freshman year, where he won his first Big 12 Championship Title in the 200 yard Backstroke.

After a redshirt year, Ryan’s subsequent years continued to dominate, breaking the Big 12 record in the 100 yard backstroke, taking fifth in the 100-yard backstroke, and ninth in the 200-yard backstroke at the 2019 NCAA Championships.

“Through the highs and lows of swimming, I’ve learned that at the end of the day, it isn’t about the times that you go, but about the friends and memories you make along the way,” says Ryan.

Harty has a wealth of experience when it comes to adversity and keeping a strong mindset in a championship setting. With NCAA championship titles under his belt, Ryan is a great example of a swimmer who knows how to dominate when it’s time to get up and race!
