EXPERIENCE

Brad Craig burst onto the national scene in 2010 as one of the top breaststrokers in the United States. As an extremely versatile swimmer with the ability to contribute in multiple events at the collegiate level, he made the decision to commit to mastering the best breaststroke technique possible.

It would prove to be one of the best choices he would ever make. While at the University of Tennessee, Craig improved his technique each year – and the result? A two-time Southeastern Conference (SEC) champion in the 200 yard breaststroke.

Craig competed in his third Olympic Trials in 2016 and continues to inspire young athletes at the Fitter and Faster Swim Tour to pursue their dreams with hard work and attention to detail.

After his career as a Volunteer, something inside Craig pushed him to continue to train and compete as a post-grad. There was more to accomplish and he wanted to continue the process of improving his technique and watching his times get faster. Whereas most athletes would be happy improving eight seconds in their best event over the course of a college career, Craig felt he could do even better. He was right. At the 2013 AT&T Winter National Championships, Brad Craig won his fist individual US National Title with a 1:52.99 in the 200 yard breaststroke. It was also ten seconds faster than when he first arrived at the University of Tennessee, as a freshman from Midland, MI. At a time when many athletes finish their careers during college, Brad Craig is just getting started.

Craig understands the process of improvement, perseverance and how continuing to focus on the “little things” is how you make big things happen. He will share with swimmers the skills he has learned and mastered to become one of the most powerful and efficient breaststrokers in the country.
