Eamon “Mad Dog” Sullivan is a triple Olympian and former world record holder in both the 50 and 100 LCM Freestyle. He is also the winner of Australia MasterChef (2009) as well as the slayer of Brett’s Australian 50 Free record. They discuss both.

They also talk about…

Executing your race plan.
Where’d you get the nickname, “Mad Dog”?
Getting Michael Klim’s autograph at 12 years old.
Making the Olympic Team at 19 years old by placing 5th in the 100 Free and then getting the nod to swim in the Final.
Injuries. Tendinitis. Bursitis. Hip surgeries. Dislocated fingers. A career dealing with injuries.
When did you think you were going to make an Olympic team? “When I touched 5th.”
Switching from doing a lot of kilometers to solely sprinting at age 16. Training with Grant Stoelwinder and Todd Pearson.
They take a very deep, deep dive into winning and being proud of Silver in the 100 Free.

And much, much more!
